Colin was born in Truro, Nova Scotia and has travelled and lived in many places prior to moving to Fort McMurray in 1986 where he now calls home in a city he loves. Colin pours his heart and soul into Family and into the Fort McMurray community with support for the many not for profit organizations some which include Fort McMurray Minor hockey, Fort McMurray Minor Baseball, The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Northern Lights Health Foundation and the Keyano College Foundation where Coldwell Banker United was named Partner Of The Year for 2009. Colin graduated post secondary from The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology where he also holds a Leadership award. Since becoming a Realtor in 1997 Colin has completed numerous accredited courses offered by the Alberta Real Estate Association and has been a presenter at several events sharing his knowledge of the industry. As a current director of the United Way Fort McMurray Board Colin has held previous positions on boards which include the Rotary Club of Fort McMurray were he was responsible for 3 International Exchanges for students and was selected to be one himself in 1990 to New Zealand were Colin studied overseas.
