Doug, a 35-year resident, and Sheran, a newcomer of only 29 years, have witnessed the evolution of our sleepy, end-of-the-rail, town into one of the country's major economic engines. Doug's 25 years in Oilsands experience and Sheran's 14 years of teaching with the Public School Board, combined with the experience of raising their 3 children, has given them many insights into our vibrant community. Christie, after having travelled the world chasing surf and snow, joined her parents in 2004. Christie contributes with her younger, vivacious point of view, and youthful energy. Michael, being the only one born and raised in Fort McMurray, has returned home to join the team after apprenticing as a carpenter, building houses in BC.
